Seek His Strength

“Seek the Lord and His strength; seek his presence continually!”-Psalm 105:4

Psalm 105 is a hymn of gratitude and praise.  It is written in such a way so that those singing/listening would embrace their calling to live as a member of God’s people.  Today’s verse delves into what all of us should be doing on a daily basis.

The verse implores us to seek the Lord.  Are we?  Or are we seeking Him only when troubled times dictate us to do so?  The verse goes on to tell us to seek His strength.  Often times we do this only when our perceived strength turns out to be a failure.  The verse ends imploring us to seek His presence continually.  Not when we feel like, not only when things are going well, but all the time.  We must seek Him in the good times and the bad.  He is always there ready to strengthen us with His love and mercy.  Remember that and resolve to seek Him in all things.
